Dave is an Augusta native who attended the University of Maine at Augusta and studied business, computer, and library sciences. He graduated from Kennebec Leadership Institute, an intensive program sponsored by the University and Chamber of Commerce to develop and enhance prospective community leaders. He worked for the City of Augusta for 21 years while simultaneously following his lifelong passion for real estate and related fields.
With an interest in architecture, historic preservation, and downtown revitalization, Dave has served in many roles to advance causes important to him. He served on the Historic Preservation Commission for Augusta as a member appointed by the mayor and city council. He founded and was president of a non-profit corporation that acquired the Augusta Colonial Theater to save it from abandonment and demolition. He worked to successfully place it on the National Register of Historic Places, perform emergency repairs to prevent further deterioration, and assembled the appropriate individuals to advance the long-sought rehabilitation.
When not working, Dave enjoys home improvement projects, including landscaping and gardening. He intentionally chose his personal residence in a location with a goal to contribute to neighborhood improvement. He also enjoys travel, hiking, boating, and cooking.
With a strong focus on quality and detail, Dave will help you to realize your real estate goals with the same enthusiasm and results as if they were his own.
